HPARA

We Are Committed To Finding Forever Homes for Pets

In 2013 we are setting a goal for our animal rescue to occupy farm land for the animals. We are very limited to the number of animals we can take in at this time. Therefore our 2013 project is to obtain farm land in Michigan to house and protect abused, abandon and neglected animals. We take in all animals some of which will never be adopted due to age and health problems. The farm will also be a life care sanctuary for unadoptable, abused, neglected, physically impaired, abandoned or older animals. The sanctuary will be a place where the animals can live out their lives free from abuse and neglect. If you have property you would like to donate please contact us at 313.541.5183 or email us at info@healthypetsalive.com Your property donation is tax deductible.

Recent Success Stories

Lilly was found in a bush as a tiny puppy with both of her back legs severely broken. She was brought to the rescue right away to receive medical care and be placed in a volunteer foster home for rehabilitation. She soon proved that her spirit was strong, climbing the sofa with two broken legs! After several months and a lot of medical care she was adopted into her new home, where she is now growing up happy and healthy.

Before he came to Healthy Pets Alive Rescue & Adoption, TJ was living with an alcoholic owner who loved him, but could not properly provide for him. Once at the Rescue, he received medical care, healthy food, and lots of love until he could be placed for adoption. As an older dog, TJ would have been at risk in a shelter that euthanize "unadoptable" dogs. Luckily for TJ, HPARA is a no-kill rescue. He was given the time he needed to find his forever home, where he is now living happily with his new family.

No you are not seeing double they are twins and they are up for adoption. They are a very friendly cats. They are spayed and up- to- date on their shots. These twin girls were born in our rescue. They are very sweet and these girls gets along with dogs and children.

We are a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group It is the only alternative, cage-free no-kill animal rescue in the area.

Some of the animals remain with us in life-long care, and some are fostered by residents in the surrounding areas.
